Six months ago, FeedTahoe set out on a mission to combat food insecurity, reduce food waste, and strengthen our community. What started as a simple idea has grown into a movement—one powered by passionate volunteers, generous donors, and dedicated nonprofit partners. 🍔 A Big Win: 400 Cheeseburgers Rescued!

One of the highlights of the event was celebrating an incredible act of food rescue. Today, the Tahoe Blue Event Center donated 400 surplus cheeseburgers, which we delivered to Lake Tahoe Community College. This perfectly aligned with LTCC hosting hundreds of South Tahoe High School students exploring dual enrollment. Instead of going to waste, these burgers became meals for our future leaders!
