VISION

Lake Tahoe is a renowned destination for people all over the world, but it should also be an incredible place to live for the people that call Tahoe home. Tahoe locals face the onslaught of intense weather, millions of visitors, strained resources, and lack of opportunity. The Marcella Foundation was founded with deep love for the community and a belief that it’s time to think bigger about what is possible. We want to invest in great ideas and the people that power them.

We offer grants and opportunities to people and organizations that think bigger and differently about problem solving. The Marcella Foundation was founded on the premise of entrepreneurship and thinking outside the box. We strive to bring these values into our grantmaking and direct program operations. We value:
