Marcella Foundation Launches ReadingPals at Tahoe Valley: A Big Thanks Volunteers, SLT PD, & Big Daddy’s Burgers!
The Marcella Foundation is excited to kick off our new ReadingPals pilot program at Tahoe Valley Elementary School, where we are pairing 16 wonderful volunteers with local children to inspire a love of reading! This volunteer-powered initiative is designed to build confidence, improve literacy skills, and create lifelong readers through one-on-one mentoring sessions with caring adults.We couldn’t have made this happen without the incredible support from our community, and we want to give a big shout-out to everyone who helped make the launch of this program a success.

ReadingPals is a program under the Marcella Foundation designed to pair adult volunteers with children to promote literacy through one-on-one reading sessions.
